Join Les and Karin as they adventure across the world...and across the backyard
Why we are doing this...
Since Les and Karin have no idea what a blog even is, I will help them out setting it up and getting them into the 21st century of communications.
Now that Mom is footloose and fancy-free, she (with the help of her understanding daughter who has graciously offered to remain at home and watch the house) will FINALLY be joining Dad on his many worldwide journeys. The first one beginning in February 2007, as she heads to the United Arab Emirates and joins Dad in the sandbox (where he still hasn't learned to play well with others...).
As they go on their adventures, they'll be able to post (with what I am guessing, MANY long distance phone calls to me for help) what they've been up to, seen, and done. I have my fingers crossed that I will not be posting an SOS for donations to spring them from some foreign jail.
This is my public, parental warning: Should this blog become a thorn in MY side (like Dad and Christmas shopping, like Mom and the VCR, etc), I WILL remove it. I'm hoping to find better things to do with my time, than provide blog support for Les and Karin.
